The band returned to the familiar venue of Haydon Bridge Methodist Church for its first concert of 2018. A varied programme of music ranged from Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jurassic Park to the march ‘1914’, in recognition of the World War One centenary this year. As always, we played to a welcoming and appreciative audience, making it the perfect setting for the first public performance of a march commissioned as a tribute to the band’s founder, the late Sue Murrill.
Many thanks to all those who attended and to the church for the very generous and tasty supper!
