After a longer wait than any of us could have anticipated, we’re back!
Hexham Brass began rehearsing together again earlier in the summer. We have mostly been rehearsing outdoors and some of you may have spotted us in The Sele on a Tuesday evening when the weather has permitted (if you’re wondering why we aren’t on the bandstand it’s because we need to spread out to allow for social distancing!).
The summer is ordinarily a busy season for us and we have all missed taking part in our usual programme of events, so we are grateful to finally dust off our instruments and get back to playing together.
Despite the long break, the band is going strong; a number of new players have recently joined us and we even have a few performances to look forward to. We hope to see you at one soon!
